1. What Tonton subscription plans are available for Pay via CelcomDigi?
There are three subscription plans for Tonton with TontonUp. However, the 1-month plan is exclusively available when you choose Pay via CelcomDigi as your payment method. By selecting 'Pay via CelcomDigi,' you can enjoy this plan at a discounted rate of RM9 per month. This plan allows you to enjoy dramas, movies, documentaries, sitcoms, anime, religious content and more in Malay, English, Chinese and Korean languages.
With a free Tonton subscription, you can access:
Free-to-air channels such as TV3, NTV7, 8TV, livestream events, and news
Hundreds of free on-demand shows
With TontonUp, enjoy:
Ad-free access to K-dramas on TVN and TVN Movies
Anime, premium on-demand shows, and more
3. How can I watch Tonton?
On mobile (Android and iOS):
Download the app from the Google Play Store or App Store
Install the app on your mobile device
Sign in or register – Open the app and sign in with your Tonton account credentials. If you don’t have an account, you can register for a new one
Start watching – Browse and stream your favorite shows and movies
On desktop:
Visit the website at www.tonton.com.my
Sign in or register – Existing users can sign in, while new users can register for an account
Browse and watch – Navigate the content library and start streaming directly from your browser
On Smart TV:
Check compatibility – Ensure your Smart TV supports the Tonton app
Download the app – Search for 'Tonton' in your TV’s app store (Google Play Store for Android TV or your TV brand's app store)
Install the app – Download and install the Tonton app on your Smart TV
4. Can I subscribe to TontonUp via the Tonton App?
Currently, TontonUp subscriptions are only available via Tonton’s website. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit https://www.tonton.com.my/celcomdigi/celcomdigi.html and click the ‘Beli Sekarang’ button
Step 2: Select the 1-month plan and choose ‘CelcomDigi’ as the payment method. You will see the monthly subscription price will update to RM9 per month. Click ‘Join Subscription'
Step 3: You will be directed to the payment page where you will need to select ‘Get OTP’, key in the OTP and click ‘Confirm’
Step 4: You will be redirected to a payment success page and receive an SMS confirmation.
5. How do I cancel my subscription?
Step 1: Log in to your 'TontonUp' account via www.tonton.com.my
Step 2: Click the gear icon in the top right corner select 'Manage Account'
Step 3: Go to 'Subscription Plan' and click 'Cancel Auto-Recurrence'.
6. Can I switch between subscription plans?
Yes, you can switch between a free Tonton subscription and TontonUp at any time. However, quarterly and annual plans are non-refundable.
Do note that Pay Via CelcomDigi is only available for the 1-month plan.
7. What devices can I use to watch Tonton based on my subscription plan?
You can watch Tonton on any internet-connected device, including:
Web browsers
Mobile devices & tablets (via the Tonton app)
Smart TVs & Android TVs
Chromecast-supported devices
8. How many devices can I use to watch TontonUp at the same time?
You can watch Tonton on two screens concurrently.
